In an empty theater, under the heat of the spotlights and the tension of an audition, seventeen dancers compete for eight spots in the chorus line of a new Broadway musical. Led by Zach, a demanding director who seeks more than just technique, the candidates are taken through an unusual process: revealing their life stories, fears, frustrations, discoveries, and deepest dreams.
